Employment Gold Card Application Process

If you confirm that you are eligible and have your relevant documents, you can apply for an Employment Gold Card through online procedures. It takes at least 30 days from application submission to collection, however, if additional supporting documentation is required, expect 50-60 days.

Step 1: Sign up for an account

You can choose three types of applications: Self application, Apply by employer, Apply by agent. If you are applying by yourself, please visit the “Foreign Professionals Online Application Platform” to apply for an account.

Step 2: Filling out information

Include personal information, residence application, collection method of documents, fields of profession…etc. and fill in all information.

Step 3: Uploading data

Upload relevant documents required for each field of profession.

Step 4: Payment and E-Mail Confirmation

A verification letter will be sent to your email address. Complete the confirmation and login to system to pay application fee.

Step 5: Identity Verification

For overseas applications, your passport will have to be inspected by the Bureau of Consular Affairs or an ROC overseas mission/office.
