In the section “How to count the days?”, it is stated, “Let’s assume that Andrew arrive in Taiwan on January 1st. After the expiration of the quarantine period, seven days of self-health management, Andrew will end his self-health management on January 19.” I believe the self-health management ends on January 9th, not on January 19th.

    1. Hey Murali, I have double-checked your suggestion and yes there was a mistake in the writing. Thanks for helping us notice that. We will make the necessary changes. Thank you again

  2. Hi, please clarify, the “0+7”self monitoring has to be completed in a registered hotel? What if i am planning to tour Taiwan for 4 nights only? Can i take a test instead and if negative, proceed to my flight leaving Taiwan? Thanks

    1. Hi, sorry for the late reply. Thanks for reaching out to the blog. Under the 0+7, there is no more quarantine hotel. So you can stay at a friend’s house if it follows the one person per room rule or you can also book a normal hotel for your stay. You can tour Taiwan anytime as long as you have a negative result from a rapid test before going out and after that, you can travel back somewhere else.
